Luck is the phenomenon and belief that defines the experience of notably positive, negative, or improbable events. One perk that comes with a close relationship with The Creator is personal Divine providence. This means that He watches over and takes care of the events in our lives. Ensuring that we are protected and taken care of. The difference between luck and divine providence is that one is uncertain and unpredictable and the other is sure and dependable.
I will say of the Most High, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my Almighty, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91
David was a shepherd boy who the Almighty chose to become King of Isreal. He knew from personal experience that he was chosen to be king not because he was lucky; But because he had a intimate relationship with Yah/Lord. When you know someone personally you can benefit from that relationship in a way that you could not if you are just an acquaintance. So many people have gotten jobs and other benefits because of personal references. Who you know matters and how well they know you matters.
The Creator has made Himself known throughout the ages. The scriptures are a record that testifies and bear witness to that.
Even when we are afraid He still has our backs
Abraham allowed the king to take his wife because he feared for his life . Then the Most high gave the king a dream and told him not to touch her. He returned her to Abraham and gave him a gift as restitution. Abraham was said to be a friend of The Almighty and David was described as a man after His own heart. Intimacy with The Almighty is developed the same way it is with people. When we spend time with someone, listen to what matters to them, respect their boundaries and give them undivided attention usually a close friendship develops. David as a shepherd had a lot of time on his hands and he spent time singing and writing psalms to The Most High. Today they are so powerful that when we use them sincerely The Most High instantly responds to them.
Allow The One who knows best to be your guide
Miracles, so called coincidences and divine connections can become a way of life. When we practice not just praying but listening and obeying. Both David and Abraham were very good at that. They did not just do whatever they wanted to, they always consulted with their Almighty first, and so they ensured they had His divine providence.
From my personal experience that is still available to us. We must however follow the correct protocol when dealing with The Almighty. Earthly Leaders require that we follow certain protocols when we wish to speak with them, understandably and so does The Almighty. Although we are told to come boldly to His throne , there are required protocols. One of which is understanding the role of The messiah and having His endorsement. another is understanding that The Almighty is The King of The Universe and must always be recognized as such. We get to make requests but we don’t get to manipulate or control Him. He has a plan for our lives, don’t leave it to chance or luck. Become a friend of His and watch Him put your life together like a puzzle, making all the right connections.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares Yah/the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
